The freedom a triple stroller has given me is a blessing. It is amazing to have the option of running whenever I want. My head is trying to look at the workout it gives me as a blessing [in disguise]. These runs are the hardest workouts I do each week.
I want to get back to the track – I have not been in over a year. I know track workouts will make me stronger but I believe there should be no MORE than 3 hard workouts a week. Hard either because of the pace or the distance.

My weekly tempo is 1. My long run makes 2. Stroller runs are my 3rd[even though they are multiple runs a week].

Some days I wonder how I do it? How does anyone run and push a stroller? How did I push 2 kids while pregnant? It takes every single ounce of my motivation to do it.

I often use my blog as a way to motivate myself. If I push through a run I know I will feel happy when I can write about my accomplishment. Not brag – write.

Writing down what I do on any given day motivates me in the future. I go back – read what I did – and remember that even though running is hard – it is worth it – I can do it.

This morning while pushing all three of them up a hill I visualized myself crossing the finish line of Marine Corps Marathon. I pictured myself with tears rolling down my face because I had pr’ed. It helped me push through 7 HARD miles pushing more than my body weight in stroller and little people.
