The winter gear from Saucony just went on sale – for 3 days only it’s available to *those in the know* – then they will open it up to everyone!!! Get awesome deals on winter gear while you can and stock up for next winter!

One of the many ways I save money when it comes to running gear is buying gear during the season rather than ahead of time. In the DC area we have yet to hit the coldest part of winter – so I buy stuff that I need to wear now – now. I get the benefit of using it his winter and then I will have it ready for next winter. If you take care of clothes and launder them properly there is no reason your running clothes can’t last for years and years and years. And by years I mean that I have really never thrown a piece of running gear away. Once I no longer want it I pass it along to someone else who does.

I’m a big hand me down person – I literally would love it if every one of my friends just brought me all their old clothes they no longer want EVERY time they clean out their closet. My sister knows this about me and was home visiting this weekend – she left me a bag of hand me down clothes in my room – it made my weekend!

  1. Thanks for sharing. I had my eye on some of the Vizipro pink & orange stuff for about a week now. I will be taking advantage of the extra 20% off!

  2. You rock, Dorothy! Just got a Drylete top and tights for $77 total (including shipping). What a deal! Thank you for posting this.

  3. Quick question about the Saucony beanie hats. I have supersuper thick hair & hats/headbands usually pop off my head. It’s just a lot to hold down. Do you think these beanies will stay on my big ole’ head? I know it’s a subjective question, but I hate buying head stuff because it never fits. (headbands are THE WORST for me:(

Hey Bonnie – The DryLete Loose Fit Beanie has the most room for big hair. I typically put mine in a ponytail in this hat and then stuff it all up into it. I also wear this one under the Wascal hat when it’s really cold out. Slim beanie is no good for big hair and the Run Vibe is super cute but you can’t fit your hair up in it. That being said I’ve worn that one over the Loose Fit Beanie to keep warm on extra cold days too! Hope that helps :)

I honestly love the Vizipro pink and orange stuff. I use to work for a major running company who had their version of reflective stuff in a different yellow color and I think this stuff is much more visible and cuter :)

  8. A fascinating discussion is definitely worth comment. I do believe that you need
to publish more about this subject, it might not be a taboo subject but usually
people do not discuss such topics. To the next! Kind regards!!
