I often wonder what people find interesting in my posts. Google stats can tell me how many of you are reading but not why.

I would love to know why you read my blog and how you found it!

I am really bad about commenting. Usually I read blogs through google reader on my phone but I just want to say how much I love your blog! I'm a mom to a toddler and before too long, we'd like to go from a family of three to a family of four! But, your blog truly inspires me to keep up my running goals all the while taking on all the responsibilities of a mom, wife, sister, daughter, etc. Thanks so much for keeping me motivated. Plus, I feel a little less crazy knowing I'm not the only mama who just NEEDS to have some time to run!!

I read your blog because it is honest. Sometimes, I am like, "I can't believe she is sharing that with the world! That is how I feel too!" Your blog was the first running blog I ever read and now I am subscribed to TONS, as well as started my own documenting my experience training for the JFK 50 miler. I found your blog after reading your article in the Washington Running Report.

I read your blog for lots if reasons. Echoing the comments above – you inspire me with all that you have done and continue to do and you are so honest and generous to share the truth that us in your heart and the depth of knowledge and experience you have as a runner and as a mother who makes the time for it. You are passionate, you are real, you are dedicated. I love all your posts including these top 16! Another post I remember quite well that I'm surprised isn't on this list (it was from a looong time ago) is the one about your progression as a marathoner. Remember that one? I love that one – your story of improvement in running marathons is awesome. Oh and one other reason I read your blog is because you are an amazing friend and I love you! :0)

I read because I'm a nursing runner – no marathons though…or rather YET. I find you very inspiring!! Found you through my friend, Bonnie Lang!

I am a reasonably new runner, so when I started running last year I went looking for some good running blogs :). I can't remember how I got to your blog, but I love it because you are inspirational, honest and a super awesome runner! Plus, we wear the same shoes!

So funny… my most viewed blog post is about an amusement park…it's because the pictures show up on a lot of international google searches. No one ever comments on it but it is far and away my most viewed post 😛

I found your blog through someone else's but can't remember which. I immediately chose to follow you since you speak the truth. You are honest and up front and say the things we need to here. Women do have fat….it is okay. Our thighs may rub….it isn't the end of the world. And we all need to set our own goals and not compare ourselves too much to others.

My most viewed blog is my comparison between the Nike Free and Reebox Real Flex. I never imagine so many would read it…not many comments though.

I started running a year ago, and love reading about you fighting through hard moments and having good runs in the midst of mothering several little ones.

I found your blog from a giveaway that you did I believe and I've been hooked ever since. I enjoy that you are real and honest. Sometimes I read blogs and think "There's no way their life, training, etc. are that perfect!" Thanks for being real!

  11. I think I found your blog via pinterest… someone posted a pic of your 26.2 verses for a marathon. I read your blog for motivation. I'm training for my second marathon and I dream of running more.

  12. I found your blog through the blog Mom Vs Marathon because you ran HTC together but you were on different teams. I follow your blog because you are real and open and I find I have a lot in common with you. I also read your blog because you inspire me to be a better runner, mom and woman. I have not run a marathon yet, only a half, but I plan to and reading your posts helps give me advice on how to achieve my goal of running a marathon. Thanks for blogging it's amazing how I don't "know" you in person but I feel like I know you because I read your blog!

I can' t remember how I found your blog but I read it cause you are a stay at home mom like me and you found running to be your saving grace. That's how I feel too. Plus after reading about your success it make me think I can run better too. Plus is is nice to find someone who is not afraid to share the fact that they believe in a God. Very refreshing. Thanks. Corrine

Seeking first the kingdom of God before running is the most powerful weapon above all. I’m so grateful I found your blog. The first Bible verse you have is my memory verse yesterday. God Bless and continue spreading the Word of Truth.

  15. Heidi Amin says:

Thank you so much for the bible verses. My daughter is running her first marathon (local 5k) and is so nervous I was looking for something to inspire her and I found it right away.
