Hi friends!

I can’t believe this week is almost over. My kids are on spring break, so it’s been a bit more hectic around here! This morning we went and picked up new I Run This Body shirts and sweatshirts and then made a stop on the way back home for a little outdoor walking adventure at Point Of Rocks, Maryland.

We got to visit with my sisters for a little and snapped a family photo. Family photos are going are going to be spaced father apart because my youngest sister is moving to Chicago in less than a month. Boo. I’ve told her I don’t like it one bit and that it makes me sad, but that is all I am going to say about it. So that’s all I will say about it :)

The new #irunthisbody sweatshirts are SUPER cute – I’ll get them up on my website just as soon as I can. Pre-orders will start to ship Monday!

Went to the doctor yesterday and had a really great appointment. I’ll share more on that tomorrow, but I am back to feeling hopeful that this can be fixed and might not be anything major.

I have a coupon code to share with you for Rock N Roll Marathons. It works for most races though there are exceptions like Vegas. It doesn’t expire till the end of the year. I know some people hate using coupons if they think you can see that they used it. I can’t see who is using this code, so not to worry, your privacy is safe! Feel free to share the image or code with anyone you want.

Spring feels like it’s finally here, fingers crossed! I love new seasons, mostly because I like new seasons, but also because who doesn’t love fresh new running gear?!

Sharing some of my recent Brooks favorites as well as what I’ve been wearing in some of my instagram pictures!

China 5

At Rock N Roll DC I wore my Brooks Launch 2. I also wore the Launch when I ran The Great Wall of China Marathon. I’m also kinda crazy about reminders, so I wore those same Brooks Launch when I jumped in to freezing water with my friends and sister to raise money for Camp Sunshine. Figured if they helped carry me through 26.2 miles in China, they could certainly help me with some freezing water.

My outfit for #RNRDC was head to toe Brooks!

Tank: Women’s Streaker Racerback This tank is a super soft seamless material. I prefer seamless type tops to run in vs silky tanks. It’s racerback which is my favorite for running. I have it in the green color and wish I had ordered it in the pink as well. It’s one of my go to tops recently. For sizing purposes I’m wearing a small in my race photos.

Shorts: Greenlight 3″ Running Short Tight I find it most comfortable to race in tight shorts. These shorts didn’t ride up, they are short enough and loose enough in the thighs that I had no issues. I usually struggle with shorts because my waist is smaller than manufacturers assume that size waist goes with the size of my thighs. These shorts are perfect for thighs of all sizes 😉

In this instagram photo with my momma, I’m rocking the Chaser 3″Short. Again, these shorts fit perfectly in the waist while not being ridiculous in the thighs. I have them in black and they are my favorite non-tight running short.

To stay warm pre-polar dip I wore the Brooks Run Thru Jacket and Pants. The pants are lined, which is great because it makes them really cozy. The jacket isn’t lined {which I didn’t realize till I got it}, so while I was worried about it being a heavy spring jacket, it isn’t. I wore it on my last super long run with my mom {22.22 miles}. It was fantastic – just enough to keep me warm, but not warm enough that I ever sweat. I have an issue with wearing too much on winter runs, sweating, and then freezing – so not sweating on a run felt like a mini running miracle.

And since I LOVE shoes I just got the Brooks Neuro – can’t wait to take them out on a run!

{I am a Brooks Run Happy Ambassador but none of these links are affiliate links, so I am not making any money off of sharing them with you 😉 just like sharing my favorites – fun fact my first blog before I had Mile Posts was a coupon blog – I’m kicking myself 8 years later for deleting it!}
