Here are a few of my favorites I have been crushing on lately:

Brooks Steady Long Sleeve Running Shirt: It’s thin, silky smooth, and the perfect spring running top. Wore it yesterday on my run because it was a bit windy and I didn’t feel like being cold in a tank. When I first got it I threw it in my pile of running shirts and didn’t think it would be much different from the others BUT it is and I find myself reaching for it at least once a week. I loved the navy color so much that I decided to make navy I Run This Body tanks, which leads me to my next favorite.

Navy Blue & Metallic Silver I Run This Body Tank: The more I learn about my personal style through closet clean outs the more I realize that I really love navy, black, white, taupe – neutral colors. I’m a HUGE fan of bright colors for running but I’m moving towards a more understated look when it comes to my every day wear. I like wearing I Run This Body shirts while not running so it made sense to add a neutral color for spring! Also good news for those if you who have asked for a cheaper US shipping option! $3.95 first class flat rate shipping on all US orders – that means you can order as much as you would like and have it all ship for just $3.95.

Overt NoHo Neoprene Backpack: I’ve been on the hunt for a black pack for the past year. I’ve debated some crazy expensive ones only to talk myself out of it because then I wouldn’t use it for everything because I wouldn’t want to mess it up. I also didn’t want something cheap that was going to fall apart after one season. Instead of quantity now when it comes to clothing and accessories I look for quality. {sidenote: here’s a really great article on fast fashion and one of the reasons I’ve moved toward owning fewer items that are made to last longer} This neoprene backpack with leather detailing is the perfect mix between functional and practical. I don’t feel bad shoving running stuff in it but it’s also not so super sporty that I feel silly bringing it to church.

Bubbies Pickles and Sauerkraut: If you are a pickle fan you HAVE to try Bubbies. Apparently I’m not the only one who is obsessed with their dill pickles. When I went to stock up the other day at Whole Foods there was only ONE jar left. Sigh. You can also purchase the pickles in bulk on Amazon, which is what I’m considering since I tend to go through them fast!

Barney & Sons Fine Tea Blueberry Green: I LOVE this brand of tea! This week I decided to give the Blueberry Green Tea a try and OMGoodness. It smells like a blueberry muffin and tastes delicious hot and over ice. I’ve really been working on upping my liquid intake and green tea is one of the ways I’ve been able to do that. As with all green teas make sure you only steep it for the time it recommends on the back {3 minutes for this flavor}, any longer and it tends to taste ICK. You can find it at your local Target or on Amazon HERE.

And last but not least my favorite little girl is raising funds to help kids with cancer!! I’m really lucky that she has a 4th grade teacher who doesn’t just teach them the basics like math and reading, but who really has taken it upon herself to teach her classes every year about helping other children and making a difference in the world. They have put donation boxes in the local highschool and libary, worked on making PSA signs that hung around the school about the funding that is needed for this cause and most recently designed shirts to raise awareness. She comes home every day and immediatly checks her email to see if any new donations have come in. Since she is my favorite 😉 I’m sharing the link to her fundraising page. All donations are tax deductible!
