I am an avid reader.

I am *in the middle of* no less than 20 books right now and have another 20 or so on my book shelf waiting for me to read, yet I find myself searching Barnes and Noble online frequently. Before you give me a lecture and advise me that the library is much cheaper, I will admit that I like to highlight books I read and so the library is no good for me unless it is a fiction book that I only plan on reading once.

If you however are not a crazy book lover like myself, but you are still a runner who would like to improve the quality of your runs and races then I HIGHLY recommend reading Running Within, by Jerry Lynch and Warren Scott.

The cover describes the book as a guide to mastering the body-mind-spirit connection for ultimate training and racing.

I do not think I need to say much else about it, other than it is amazing, and you might need a highlighter.

  1. Thanks for the recommendation! I'll look for it on my next B&N trip!

Running Within sounds good! I read and loved Born To Run!

  5. I'm reading that book (along with a million others) right now too! Unfortunately though, mine IS from the library so I can't mark in it. :( Might have to get my own copy.

LOVED this book! Mine is marked in yellow from cover to cover. It is now on loan to another runner.

  7. I'll add it to my list! I have "to be read" STACKS at my place. One of the stacks is just running/exercise books.
