Banjees according to Sprigs:

Keep your ids, cash, keys and more close at hand while you enjoy the world around you.

Banjees wrist wallets are super cute [hello tie-dye - yes I love you], inexpensive, and work. I happen to think they would make a cute present for the runner in your life. Cheap enough you won’t feel bad about buying for yourself.

What I’ve been using my banjee for:

  • Carrying money
  • Carrying chapstick or a tiny tube of body glide just in case
  • Carrying my ID on days I dodn’t feel like wearing my RoadID
  • Carrying a gel and some toilet paper on long runs
  • Wiping sweat from my head so it doesn’t drip into my eyes

Stuffed with STUFF

I’m a purse addict of the worst kind, so when out and about I usually have a WAY too large bag accompanying me with all the things I need and don’t need for the day. When out running or at the beach I become a minimalist. I trade my bulky purse for carrying things in my hand or water bottle pouch. I’d prefer to carry my stuff than use a small purse [though there are exceptions to this]. The banjee works great for those days that I want to take the kids on a walk but don’t want to bring anything with me but a couple of essentials – chapstick – money – id.

I have the BIG banjee which is large enough to fit your phone. I’ll admit if I had an iphone it probably would have fit better. My Android was much too large for me to carry my phone on a run.

  1. I’ve thought about getting one of these but I never forget or have an issue with my 1bandID. Its like a Road Id but it just goes on your Garmin. (I’d never forget that). 1BandID.com

  2. I love this!! I am so going to get one, I have been looking for something like this, thanks for the great suggestion!!!

  3. I always put my housekey in the little pocket in my running skirt, and hold my smart phone in my hand. A little pouch to keep everything in sounds handy, but isn’t it a bit big? I do like the pink though!

  4. I have one of those! I picked one up at the Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathon because it was so hot there was no way I was going to be able to race in my beloved capris and I had to wear shorts instead. I put my sport Jelly Beans in mine and I was good to go. The only downside is from all the sweating I did, gross I know, the color on my Jelly Beans ran, so I had an orange flow pattern down my arm from the beans! Thankfully it washed off, but it was very odd looking.
