I broke down and joined. My friend MR PIC was running Columbus Marathon this weekend(and ran a 3:17 – WHAT WHAT!!!) and the race automatically tweeted your time as your crossed mats on the course. How high tech of them! I wanted to track how she was doing so I signed up. I’ve since learned that Marine Corps Marathon is on twitter and so I’m officially a “follower” – not sure if that’s what you call it in twitter land….
Anyways for all of you running MCM and are on twitter – follow me
and MCM. Blog stalkers welcome! I’ve had 599 page views this week and don’t know who you guys are!?! Would love to virtually meet some of you!!(Feel free to comment below

evidently this was twitter's first race, and there was a programming error. so twitter had lots of people thinking they ran one minute faster. so I ran a 3:18. thanks for following me on twitter. it'll be fun to do the same on sunday
Hi Dorothy-
I'm a friend of George 'the Coach' Buckheitt too but I don't think I know you?! Do you run W&L track on Tues and Fri's? Congrats on MCM. I was there cheering the troops on. Almost harder, almost…, to be a good spectator than a runner. I'm still hoarse! Cheers!
